Master Class Assortment of 36 Incense Sticks in 4 Scents
The master class Incausa incense assortment.
You will receive four packets, each with nine incense sticks in beautiful hand wrapped traditional Nepalese Lokta paper for a total of 36 incense sticks. The company that makes this incense is a social entrepreneurship company that works with indigenous tribes from the Amazon to harvest the incense and then gives money back to the tribes to help keep them sustainable.
We like to burn these incense slowly, sometimes burning just a small portion at a time, snuffing it out and saving it for another time. A little bit of these incense sticks go a long way.
The four scents for the four parcels are as follows:
1) Breu Resin - This mystical scented Breu Resin incense is extracted from the Almacega tree of the Amazon rainforest. Breu Resin is used in healing rituals to ward off dark spirits and invite good energy. It is an aromatic resin rich in alpha and beta-amyrina triterpenes, which possess anti-inflammatory, analgesic and gastro-protective properties.
2) Palo Santo - Palo Santo grows on the coast of South America and is related to Frankincense, Myrrh and Copal. In Spanish, Palo Santo literally means “Holy Wood.” The magic is in the alchemical process that happens after the death of a limb or tree. In order for the Palo Santo to gain its healing properties it must die, but not just any death – only a natural death of a wise old limb or tree. The Palo Santo trees live for 50 to 90 years. After this death, the tree must remain in its natural habitat for 4 to 10 more years to complete its metamorphosis. Only then do its sacred, medicinal and mystical properties come alive.
Palo Santo is burned in ceremonies by Shamans for its energetically cleansing and healing properties similar to Sage. Its uplifting scent raises your vibration in preparation for meditation and allows for a deeper spiritual connection. It is also said that Palo Santo enhances creativity and brings good fortune. Palo Santo is traditionally used for relieving common cold and flu symptoms, asthma, allergies, migraines and headaches, stress, anxiety, depression, inflammation, sea sickness, arthritis and more.
3) White Sage - Native Americans and other ancient cultures have used sacred white sage for generations to purify, cleanse, and protect oneself or a space. The practice of burning white sage is called smudging. Smudging your sacred space, your home or office, or even your body with sage is like taking an energetic shower, or doing a deep metaphysical cleansing. The sage may be broken off and burned in a heat proof vessel or you may light the end of the sage bundle let the flame go out so only smoke remains and walk through your space to cleanse it of negativity. Keep a window cracked to let the negativity escape.
4) Chacrona and Jagube - Psychotria viridis, Chacrona leaf and Banosteriopsis caapi, Jagube vine, together are the fundamental ingredients in preparing the sacramental entheogenic drink Ayahuasca.
Burn on safe heat resistant surface.
50 min per stick.
